Q. Describe the work of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan as a social reformer?

 Sir Syed Ahmed Khan asked the Muslims to adopt English culture and education. With this aim, he first started a Science Society at Aligarh in 1878. He established Anglo-Oriental College there. He made efforts to remove the abuses in the Muslim society such as Pardah system, polygamy, instant divorce etc.
