Ans. Civil disobedience movement started by Gandhiji received much response from the people. On 6th April, 1930, thousands of men and women came out to offer civil disobedience in response to Gandhiji's call. In the Punjab, salt was made by violating the laws at Amritsar, Lahore and at many other places. Foreign goods and cloths were burnt at public places.
