Q. What was the attitude of the Muslim League towards Morley-Minto Reforms ?

Ans.

To keep the Muslims away from the national movement, the British officials were developing
friendly relations with them. It was at their instigation the Muslim League organised a deputation to meet the Governor General Lord Minto at Shimla. It demanded separate electorate for the Muslims. The government promised to accept their demands in the govt. of India Act 1909.
