Q. How the British Government helped the Company in the time of Mutiny ?

Ans.



The Government of England sent much help to the Company to suppress the revolt. It supplied money, weapons, food and military forces to India. But the rebels did nol get any outside help. As a result, the position of the rebels grew weak and they had to surrender to the Company.
